Winning in Life

Earth is just a place to learn, not a place to win or conquer. Winning in life means winning Jesus. You are already successful as you are if Jesus became your best friend.

When you have Jesus within your heart, then you are already a champion of this world. 

Of course you can be happy in this world, but all of it were just temporary. Soon, that happiness will fade away and will be replaced by void and sorrow. There is nothing to win or conquer in this world because this world only offers temporary things and there is nothing to keep here that will last forever as our own. So, what is the sense of having it all?

Our health, beauty, fame, wealth, friends, love, life are all temporary. One by one, we will lost it all along the way on its own time.

The real deal here is the LIFE after we leave earth. The real life that God planned for us, the place where God originally made for us, our real home where life and everything is real and eternal.

This world is an empty space and it is not worth achieving things here for recognition, literally, it is not worth it, it will all end in vain. But by knowing that we have eternal life after our life here on earth, is our greatest HOPE that we can hold onto. 

It is the perfect life that we all dreamt of. The perfect life where we can achieve our desires that God put into our hearts. The perfect life to do what we love doing because God gifted it to us. The perfect life, perfect relationship and perfect love that we will all have with God.

We might enjoy a piece of success here on earth, but after some time, we might get bored and then, emptiness and sorrow will prevail because this world is not our real home. 

Our real home is with the creator who made everything real, pure, and beautiful. So, it's useless to do your best here on earth for it will always end in vain without making God the reason of it. Seeking His knowledge and His love is the real purpose of our life here on earth.

Having something to eat, to wear and a shelter to live are just enough to live our life decently here on earth. So, don't focus very much on material things especially when everything we own here will be left  when we're gone.

God will provide us whatever we needed. 

To love, to learn and to cultivate values, respect and discipline through the laws that God gave us while we're living here is another agenda of living our life here on earth.

How to win Jesus?

First, we need to know him more. We need to know the purpose of His life for us. How much God loved us that God need to send Jesus on earth.

By knowing Jesus and everything about Him through the scriptures, we will begin to understand Jesus and the Words of the Lord.

This is the same as with winning friends. But the deal here is that Jesus is a real friend, not a fake one. He already expressed His love for us. We just only need to know, understand, realize and discover it.

Just like with friends, when you learn how great and kind your friends are, the more you wanted to be with them, to spend time with them, to enjoy being with them, to do things together with them, share things with them, right?

That kind of relationship is what you wanted and you can find it with Jesus by knowing Him through the scriptures.
